With slums making up a higher percentage of this Kingdom with attendant infrastructural, social and economic challenges, we are poised to develop human capital whose potentials will be able to drive growth in neighbourhoods and communities across the kingdom Establishing partnership with stakeholders within and outside the kingdom will address a quantum issues facing the Kingdom. Our motivation is to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 in Ojora Kingdom and beyond Creating awareness, encouraging education, skills acquisition and entrepreneurship among residents will lift living standards.
Slums commonly referred to as GHETTO, fundamentally paint pictures of all kinds of under development with associated crime and poverty. This can be ameliorated by transforming communities through women and youth empowerment. Turning women into transformative agents by boosting their confidence and self esteem will bring about positive vibes in neighbourhoods. Raising living standard in the ghetto will create a sense of belonging among inhabitants inculcating positive mindset in them. There is no gainsaying that the ghettos have produced great men and women globally, identifying and creating opportunities in the slums will consistently bring about the needed turn around for a better world.
